Home Repair Made Easy!

Let's face it, Home Repair and Home Ownership go hand in hand.

Either you've just bought a new house or your 'honey do list' has gotten long enough that you need to buckle down and get it done. No matter what, you've come to the right place. I'm going to be walking through numerous repair and maintenance projects that are simple and easy to do. Seriously, this is 'do it yourself home repair'.

I know the feeling. Not only do I have a house built in 1971 (that needs work) I also have 2 little girls. They like to think that hand railings are made like 'indoor monkey bars', that doors are meant to be closed as hard as possible (rattling the clocks on the walls) and that couches are 'basement sized hurdles'.

Not to mention how much fun it is when they come into daddy's office and 'play with his papers' (ok that is organization and discussed on a different page - but you get the idea).

No matter what the situation, there are always things that will need to be done to your house:

The Lights Become Outdated

The fan in the bathroom (vintage with the house) stops working for some strange reason

You have lots of small little dings in your walls (i.e. you are suffering from years of furniture being moved in)

The floor has seen better days and needs to be redone

the list goes on and on.

You get the idea. We'll be tackling a lot of these projects and I'll show you step by step how to fix lots of little projects in your house.

I'll also lay out the difficulty of these projects using the 'Band-aid Guide to Home Repair'.

You're probably a very money conscious person (just like myself) and I'll show you that you don't have to spend much money to get some really good results.

I also want to let you know that I'll be tackling projects I understand and that come easy for me. On this website you're not going to learn how to add an addition to your house in 3 easy steps (I'll pay a contractor for their expertise).

What you will find are the projects that I've done myself.

Let's Fix it Together!
